
Coaching is an integral part of how we partner with our families. We want to help build your confidence as your child’s number one support, advocate and coach, and to reach the goals that are important to you.
We can provide advice and support with:
Encouraging and supporting your child’s early development

Choosing the right preschool or school for your child
Information Workshops on topics including School Readiness, Child Development and Makaton Signing.
We offer online consultations to our families and regular training opportunities to equip and encourage you.
One-to-One Coaching
Meeting at your home oronline , we can talk through what is important to you and your child, set achievable goals and work toward meeting these through upskilling, resourcing and strategising together.
‘SKYPE SURGERIES’
Families can make a 60 minute videocall appointment online a specific issues relating to applying their child’s development/ intervention at home, to discuss and receive advice regarding their child’s EHCP, discuss their choice of school .
During a 60 min videocall appointment we will discuss your child’s current challenges/ areas of need (this could be behaviour/ language/ independence skills).
We will talk through practical strategies to try to support your child and consider how we can fit this into your family routine.
This service is great for troubleshooting or tackling a specific concern/ area of your child’s development.
Structured Coaching for Parents
This six week coaching programme allows us to work together to find strategies which work best within your family and look at ways to embed these into your daily life. We will be digging a little deeper than we would be able to do in a one off appointment to find strategies which will support your child’s development in the early years and beyond.
The package includes:
60 min 1-2-1 initial consultation (via Zoom)
5 x weekly follow up coaching consultation sessions to move forward with a clear plan of action (30 – 45 minutes)
Ongoing communication to support the implementation of strategies (emails/messaging)
Signposting to training videos/ resources/ support services which will support you in understanding your child’s needs
Feel equipped with the tips and tools you need to
Understand your child’s needs and behaviour
Implement a calm routine
Set ‘just right’ challenges for your child
Use self-regulation strategies to support your child in finding appropriate outlets for their emotions
As a parent, when you feel confident, this fills your child with confidence too!
