Hi, I’m Sarah …

A specialist speech and language teacher with a focus on emotional regulation for children 3-8 years old. I have been working with children and their families for almost 20 years.

I am increasingly drawn to working with parents because YOU are the best person to support your child! You are your child’s first and most important communication partner. All you need are the right tools.

Parenting is a tough job filled with self-doubt and worry. If you’re here looking for answers and support, please know this: you’re already doing an INCREDIBLE job for your child.

I’m a mum of two and let me tell you, supporting your own child is very different from supporting other people’s children in a professional capacity. I can now see things from a parent’s perspective much more clearly, as I have experienced similar struggles first hand. I specialise in supporting parents like you to understand your child’s emotional and regulation needs and then give you the tools to support your child when they are feeling overwhelmed.

These strategies help to reduce the frequency and intensity of emotional outburts.

We’ll be the perfect fit if…

  • You know your child doesn’t want to feel constantly angry and that they’re always doing their best

  • Your heart breaks when you feel your own frustration levels rising because you can’t understand what they’re communicating, again

  • You’re desperate to enjoy the time that you spend with your child and hate how often things end in upset…

  • You’ve noticed your child’s struggles are impacting the whole family and you realise it’s not fair

  • You’ve been a bit sceptical of professional help and you’re SURE there must be a way to help your child yourself

  • You wish you had more confidence to advocate for your child’s needs within childcare settings or at school

  • You’re looking for the tools, support and encouragement which will empower you to be the parent your child deserves - so you can stop worrying you’re a failure (of course you’re not!)
